Andrew S. Pfau, a New York licensed CPA,
has more than 25 years of public accounting experience working with and
advising affluent business owners in accounting, tax and business
management issues. He graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn College
and obtained his CPA license at the age of 22. For 17 years he was the
Vice President of a small boutique accounting firm on Madison Avenue.
He left in 2000 to establish his own practice catering to the needs of
small to medium sized businesses, their owners and their families.
He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also holds NASD licenses including the series 7, 63 & 65 and a New York State Life, Accident and Health insurance brokers license. In addition he has served on several professional committees including
the Committee On The Taxation of S Corporations, the Small Sized Firm
Practice Management Committee and the Small Sized Firms MAP Committee.
He also co-authored an article that appeared in the "CPA Journal" and
has been quoted by several financial publications including
"Physician's Medical News", "Accounting Today" and "AICPA Tax
Insider".
